Mike Hodges & The Morons
For those who want to know the real Mike Hodges, check out Morons From Outer Space. Though this movie seems really stupid for the first 20 or 30 minutes (and it really, really is), there's something about a door falling off of a spaceship that had me rolling on the floor. Yes, they are morons so don't expect stinging wit, just sheer stupidity, as this film, my friend, is the definition of moronic.

I tried to rent 'Morons from Outer Space' last night, but the Video Library didn't have it. I was thinking of having a double bill w/ The Stupids, a movie I have been afraid to watch again because I'm almost positive that doing so would completely spoil my memory of how funny it was the first time I saw it.
I have the same problem about re-seeing this movie; i.e.: the door never could be quite that funny again. I also have the same problem with The Stupids, as that, of course, was the funniest movie I've ever seen.
